After 20 Years, Finally, Weight Loss that Works

Breanna B. had been trying to lose weight since the fifth grade. You name it, she tried it: Weight Watchers, AdvoCare, cabbage soup diets, “heart-healthy” and low-fat diets, the Manotech diet, Lean Cuisine – but it wasn’t until Isagenix that she actually saw results 20 years later.

“I really think I wasn’t losing weight because my body was holding on to toxins, and it wasn’t in a place where they could release,” says Breanna. Breanna’s Tips for Success:

  • Keep your end goal in mind. “If there are Doritos in the kitchen, I’ll ask myself, ‘Are those Doritos more powerful than knowing you could reach your end goal?’” Breanna says. “I’m not going to let those Doritos win.” Also, by participating in the IsaBody Challenge®, where she finished in the Top 10 in the Weight Loss category, Breanna says the direction the challenge provided held her accountable and kept her on task. She lost more than 40 pounds in only six months during the challenge.
  • Add more color to your plate. “I’ve been a lifelong vegetarian, so I’ve always eaten differently than most people,” Breanna says. “Now, I definitely eat less pastas and heavier foods, and moved more towards eating lots of color on my plate — lots of greens, kale and peppers, instead of potatoes and pasta.”
  • Share your story. When you tell others about your results and what got you there, you’re increasing your network of supporters while inspiring others, Breanna says. “I try to live my life to be courageous because you never know who’s watching you,” Breanna says. “When you have courage, I feel like people take inspiration from that.”
